Texas Plant Gains 2.6 MW with LM-2500 GT
Gas Turbine Wet CompressionThis MeeFog installation in 1997 was on an General Electric LM2500 that drives air compressors at a gas plant. It was designed for evaporative cooling and overspray (wet compression). According to the operator, the system has been used every summer for over 23 years with no negative impact to the gas turbine.
